This accreditation was approved on the 27 th August 2008. Recertification was approved on the 9th November 2011.

Queensbury Shelters operates a formal, documented, Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2008.
The planning and function of the Quality Management System are formally monitored and minutes relating to such activity are retained.
The system consists of a Quality Policy Manual, underpinned by; Flow Charts, Procedures, Work Instructions, Forms and Records.
The system is controlled using an ‘online’, collaborative , Web Browser based system, based on Microsoft Sharepoint technology. This provides a universal, collaborative workspace for staff to share and access up-to-date information. This system currently controls; Document and Record management, Contract Review, Management Review, Audits, Corrective / Preventive Actions, Engineering Changes, Supplier Returns and Customer Satisfaction/Complaints.
Customer supplied data is subject to formal review and approval prior to manufacture, with Planning and Manufacture being controlled by a custom, computer based, system.
The company has a formal Training system in place along with a database listing key staff and associated key competencies.
