Official Opening of the A3 Bus Priority Corridor

The A3 Bus Priority Corridor was officially opened on the 5th November 2008 by Paul Clark the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Transport, the event marks the completion of six years’ construction work. Queensbury Shelters has been responsible for the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of the ZIP Bus Shelters along the route. The shelters have been designed in consultation with a bus users’ forum made up of representatives from Havant Access group, Portsmouth Association for the Blind and Bus Users UK, the forum was designed to take into account the needs of people with visual impairment and limited mobility.
