Who is NICEIC?
The National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting is an independent consumer safety organisation and is a registered charity.
For 45 years it has been a consumer focused body and has been the electrical contracting industry's voluntary regulatory body for electrical safety matters.
NICEIC is an authoriative voice, offering unparalleled impartiality on all issues related to electrical installations. Supporters of NICEIC include electrial and construction industries and also professional health and safety bodies.

What does this mean for Queensbury?
It is extremely important that our teams have the necessary knowledge, skill and experience to completed the electrical work to avoid the dangers to others and themselves.
Queensbury Shelters has been assessed against the requirements of the NICEIC Rules Relating to Enrolment and has been enrolled as a Approved Contractor as of the 3rd October 2003, Enrolment Number 030206000.
Now that Queensbury has become NICEIC Approved Electrical Contractor, we will be re-assessed every year by a Council Area Engineer. This is to confirm that the business and the technical standard of our electrical work continue to comply with the councils rules.
What does this mean for the Customer?
As the customer, you can be assured that electrical installation completed by Queensburys experienced teams meets the Councils technical standards which are based on the national standard for the safety of electrical installations (British Standard DS 7671) and any other applicable British Standard Codes of Practice.
Whether we are altering, adding or constructing a new electrical installation, you will receive an Electrical Installation Certificate, which is a safety declaration confirming that our work complies with the national safety standards.
